INTEGRATED MARKETING PLAN



Sinethemba Community Care Center is a South African NGO that uses a variety of media and communication strategies to raise awareness and educate the public about the stigma around HIV/AIDS and HIV prevention. Sinethemba Community Care Center provides the strategic direction, advocacy, coordination and technical support needed to catalyse and connect communities and private sectors to deliver life-saving HIV services. The NGO works to create the change necessary for the communities to enjoy equitable, healthy, and happy relationships that contribute to the development of societies.


Aims and objectives

Sinethemba Community Care Center aims to prevent the spread of HIV and reduce the vulnerability of individuals and communities to the virus.

To advocate for people living with HIV/AIDS and people affected by the virus through a range of media (including social media), using informational and educational campaigns, social analysis and research, crafted messaging, and personal stories that advance tolerance and understanding, and encourage positive behaviour change.

To ensure mass media visibility to increase the NGO's ability to influence policy makers.

To ensure the human rights sectors are sustainable through increased funds, improved capacities, stronger partnerships and stronger evidence base.


Target Audience, Donors and Stakeholders

High-risk groups

These include people who inject drugs, commercial sex workers, and transgender  people.

Young people

This includes adolescents and young adults who are at risk of HIV due to limited knowledge, risky behaviours, and lack of access to health services.

Healthcare providers

These include counselors and doctors who can benefit from updated information and resources to provide accurate guidance and support.

Community leaders and influencers

they can be engaged to advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention within their communities.

Donors and contributors

Sinethemba Community Care Center relies on voluntary contributions from a range of donors and development partners, including foundations, private sector entities and individuals.


Marketing Channels

To distribute the content by utilising channels that are guaranteed to gain the exposure Sinethemba Community Care Center needs, which includes key journalists, social media, press releases, radio, television, and advertising.

Action Plan

To get coverage in target media outlets, compile and send out media releases, improve the search engine optimisation of Sinethemba website, engage with donors and social media influencers to build a sense of  community and anticipation.


Messaging

As Sinethemba Community Care Center, we urge communities to stand together and provide support and care for vulnerable individuals and HIV affected families who have suffered abuse and discrimination.
